Check lobster pots as you traverse the scenic Abel Tasman coastline. Located at the North West corner of the South Island, Abel Tasman Park is renowned for its golden sand beaches, sculptured granite cliffs, and abounding wildlife. Along the way you may see seals, dolphins, blue penguins and view fantastic scenery. This 3hr trip will have your appetite ready for a plentiful lobster dinner at end of day with all the fixings.

These lobster can get up to 10lbs plus and there are often sharks and eels in pots that are fun for viewing before we release them. Don’t forget your camera for all these great photo opportunities!

For lunch we stop in the middle of the park at a secluded hide-away lodge. Kayaking can be arranged for you as a private get-away pleasure.

This is a must as it is a non tourist trip and one of a kind.

This tour also features a life-long local seaman, Captain Haddy, whose knowledge about history of the area (especially the Maori people that were a head hunting cannibal people), is a great bonus.

Stay in the golden sand town of Kaiteriteri near Abel Tasman Park at the www.kaiterilodge.co.nz a favourite spot of all Kiwis.
